Oh..

This kit is known to have problem that you are describing.
Buying a differet kit is only way you can solve your problem.

this is one of the kits that i prefer using
im an installer and i think this one holds it the best

here is a link

Perfect kit no more sliding out

it has a braket that gets screwed onto the back of the cubby and mounted to the factory postion where the metal bracket was held

Know of somewhere I can buy it other than ebay though? Can't afford to pick it up within the close of the auction and want to be able to get it at a later date
