6th gen header question

The cool thing about the short ram (i have aem in 6th gen) is that it is loud only when u want it to be. If u don't floor it then the engine sounds stock but when u really slam the gas (not really rpm just gas) then u can hear a nice growl but its not loud or bothersome.

same with the AEM CAI. its stock untill you punch it. (6th gen I4 coupe)

I was running the same intake setup as you are. I just recently installed a one piece CAI with a K&N filter, and it def feels a little faster. its much louder, but only after 4k rpm. I dont know about headers, but im glad i read this and didnt waste my money. Sorry bro.

I would think he meant it gained 14hp before the vafc. Otherwise this post would be completely pointless.

You will never recieve 10 hp on a header on the F23 motor. It is more like 3 hp at most.

If you want to start feeling power, start switching out engine internals, upping the compressing, tuning the ECU, etc. Bolt-ons are just bolt-ons and the gains are mostly placebo.
