Default 03 accord central

Alright guys, as I can see there are not many threads on the 03 accord. I am convinced that there are people out there who own the car aside from me, who would like to talk about it. So here it is, I have an 03 accord lx, manual. When I first bought it, I was a little dissapointed, cuz the car is so damn heavy and its only 160 hp, so I am slowly growing to like the car, it has 400 miles on it. I already got my 93/55 ticket. Anyways, I am just curious what kind of power upgrades are available for this car, I am aware that intake, new exhaust, can add some power, is there a turbo charger or a super charger for it? if so is it worth trying to install it, or will it destroy the tranny? well any info will be appreciated. Lets get this thread rollin.

If you cant drive dont get on the road....

OK we've got one... '03 LX 4-door 5-spd, 3500 miles. My daughter is the main driver.

I figured it would be a real dog, but it's not that bad. I saw that it has a cable shifter, I figured that would be a POS, but it's OK, too. Leave it to Honda to make even a cable shifter feel nice. But I don't like the position of the shift lever. It's just awkward somehow. I like my GS-R...

There's already a recall on it. It's in the dealer RIGHT NOW... Something about the breather tube being able to work loose.

The only thing I hate is this. When the car was less than a week old, a truck going the other way kicked up a stone & put a dent & a big chip in the paint in the middle of the hood.

Not much out there yet in the way of performance mods. I'm happy with the engine so far (V6)

Best upgrade possible IMO is tires. Maybe some 17's with wrapped in something sticky. Plenty to choose from on that front.

7th Gens need shocks and springs too. Only springs available so far, alot of good that does us without the right shocks.

are there any mods for the 03 4cyl accord aside from tires, which are worth installing.... or is it all a waste of money?

Default mod and site

Also look into the Greddy E-Manage System. Air/Fuel, VTEC Point Controls, etc...and a good CAI will definitely help performance.

i have found threads, and looked online, but have not seen much on the side of 4 cyl sedan, most stuff is for the coupe and 6 cyl, so I am just not sure if anyone with any info... or is it even worth upgrading a 4 cyl?

I say go more for show than for go. It's a pretty quick car for a 4 cylinder, and the K series is a good engine, easily upgradable, but you are going to end up spending a ton of money just to try to keep up with the V6's. Go with just an intake now, Injen Race Division is what I have, sounds SO NICE, maybe go for a nice sounding exhaust, then some rims and a drop is my suggestion.
