If you want to sell it within a year just go with the basic bolt ons. Intake, exhaust, headers are already out for the 4 cylinder. Maybe do a nice DVD setup(put the screen in the CD storage bin, lots of people have done that).

If you are looking for hp upgrades you should have considered buying the V6. 240>160 = more hp. The amount of money you are probably going to spend to get up to at least the 200+ mark is the same amount you would have spent on getting the V6 if not more. My view on the whole "more horsepower" thing is get a car that already has it. You won't have to waste your time modifying it to get more and more. I think it makes perfect sense. That's why I bought the V6.

I agree w/ tkd1979. I bought my v6 manual because I figured it would cost so much more to get the same horsepower w/ bolt ons.

question for those out there that installed a dvd player. Is there a way to hook up a player to the Nav system? or do I have to install a seperate screen in the CD holder.

I'm interested in eventually upgrading to leather in my LX sedan... when I start shopping, what would you personally consider a good deal, and what kind of range should I expect. Anything to look out for as an indication of the quality of the shop's work?

Also would like to add wood-look to my car in the next couple of months. I don't know what to expect from the places I find on ebay and such, so I was going to get the OEM kit in January when they have the door switch trim available. Any suggestions on that, too?

Thanks a lot! I appreciate the help.

This is actually right up my alley, There are several leather companies out there which most shops use. The most popular ones are Katzkin and Classic Soft Trim, ask which they use if you plan on getting leather seats, in the New York... Schenectady area we charge 1499.00 for front and back seats and door pannels, leather and 60 bucks more for two tone and embroideries... But you can probably ask most shops to give you a better deal. If you say you will pay in cash you will usually also get a better deal. Classic Soft Trim makes the best leather, we use it and its top notch quality. Also depends on who installs it, As far as wood dashes, they usually retail installed for about 400 - 26 - 36 piece sets, and about 300 for 14 - 17 piece sets, I just ordered a blue carbon fiber dash for my own car. I ve got a blue sedan. The price on leather you can usually get knocked down like i said if you try. But as you understand everyone has to make money.
