Default Spring Question

I'm about to install my eibach drop springs and I was wondering if I replace my springs without replacing the shocks will that be bad?Or will it be cool for about 3 months till I replace the shocks?

depends how low they are, what condition your shocks are in.

i had my H&R sports for about 5-6 months until i made the choice to change my shocks. they would have lasted longer though...

but 3 months should be ok...

I did it for 2 years, no problems. Also depends on the drop. I was lowered 1.5" is all.

Remember that u can't touch the strut shaft with a tool. I didn't know that there was a place for an allen wrench on the very top of the strut so I grabed my shaft pliers and scratched it up. After 1mi of driving oil was shooting out of the struts.

Another thing that you NEED to do is mark the top cap possition relative to the spring perch like so----> I didn't do so and it was a bitch to eye ball it. Other than that your oem struts should hold up.

It'll be fine, how much of a drop is it? Make sure you cut the bump stops to compensate for the drop as well.
