Remember that u can't touch the strut shaft with a tool. I didn't know that there was a place for an allen wrench on the very top of the strut so I grabed my shaft pliers and scratched it up. After 1mi of driving oil was shooting out of the struts.
Another thing that you NEED to do is mark the top cap possition relative to the spring perch like so----> I didn't do so and it was a bitch to eye ball it. Other than that your oem struts should hold up.
