Default Shaving emblems????

How can I "shave" the emblems off my Accord? I've got a 2003 Cpe and I want to get rid of the ACCORD and Honda logos on the trunk... Any help would be appreciated...

fishing line.

or dental floss. slip it behind the emblem on one end, and work toward the other end, in a sawing motion. then roll off the adhesive with your finger. if it's stubborn, you can use a solvent.

the [H] may have a post that goes through your trunk. dunno.

Fishing line works for the "Accord" logo and the "V6"(if you have one...hehe). The "H" logo on the trunk is screwed on, but a shop can probably do it for about $30-35 and then fill the screw marks in. A guy on V6P.com did it, looks really clean without any markings like that.

Silicon lubricant works too. Makes the double sided tape weak and soft.

My 93 has plastic posts that go through the trunk I went to take it off and realised that wasn't gonna work. I'm gonna take the Accord and EX badges off today though. When I get my car repainted I'll have them weld in some metal and cover up the two holes.

Ya, with mine, I was lucky because I was getting the car painted later, otherwise my 11 year old car at the time would have had some nice little "faded" paint lines *laughs*. But anyhow, getting the goo off was a PITA, but with a little patients and some goo gone it all went away within an hour.

IMO the best thing to remove the glue from the car without harming the paint is lighter fluid.
