90,000 tune up

Default 90,000 tune up

im at about 101,000 miles, prolly gona go in to get a tune up soon, what should i be expecting to get done? and what is a reasonable price i should be looking at? thanks.

at 100k...belts/water pump/distributor/spark plugs i think is the main stuff

MAKE SURE U CHECK THE SPARK PLUG RIGH AWAY if u havent, i check mine at 55k and omg everything broken inside just lots of rubber all little pieces it . til this day i wonder how my car was able to turn on lol.

pcv valve replacement
brake fluid
coolent flush
transmission flush

well my car came with NGK spark plug wires..so iuno..how much would i be looking to spend?

The NGK's are inexpensive, lik $10 or so for 4 new plugs. Use a torque wrench and anti-sieze compound. Check your wires for resistance, if they aren't up to par, swap them for new ones. You can also check/replace distributer cap and rotor. Replace all fluids, and when you have the timing belt done, it's customary to have the water pump replaced at the same time. Check/replace your pads and rotors.

Basically if you plan on doing any of it yourself, it's just worth it to you buy a Helms manual so you'll know what needs to be done and how to do it.

iv been looking for the Helms service manual for a 94 accord sedan..only could find a shop manual and the service manual in spanish :/
