Default which color wire is the power wire?

Ok, almost got my reverse indiglo's working. The only thing left is to figure out which color wire is the power wire. We're using the green tab wires as shown by the center top arrow here:

question is, which color wire is it? we assumed the green wire is the ground, but tried the red & purple wire hoping that it was the power. no such luck. anyone know? i'll take another pic later if no one knows offhand.

thanks guys

you dont tap there into those bigass groups of wires

someone with them can help you better, but i think most people tap them into their dimmer switch

go into your fusebox, ground the black wire and start sticking the red wire in the little holes. Depending on what you want it to turn on with (headlights, parking lights etc) you just find where it goes. I used a test light but you don';t even need to, just stick the wire into the slot and test to see if it works. For my 98 ex the upper right most one was the parking light wire

didn't even need to tap anything and it's stayed fine for awhile

ok, looks like i'm doingn something wrong or I have a problem...

my fuse box is pretty much the same as yours DRACORD, so i grounded the black wire and then tried stickin in the red wire into the same upper right slot. do i just stick it in as far as it can go? or do i need to pull out the parking light wire first and then put them in together? i tried just sticking it in as far as possible into that upper right slot, but no go.

what doesn't make sense to me is this. I pulled that whole green tab (that had the parking light wire) and yet my dash still lights up. How is that possible?

thanks
