Default bumper light question

hey just have a few questions: yesterday i took off my front bumper lights on my stock bumper and left it open. I wrapped up the wires w/ wire tape and i just want to know if this is safe? my turn cgnals flash faster than usual... is there a way to remove the left over wire from my bumper lights? and will it fix it? -- thanx, dnt kno how 2 explain it better.

nmm i know is flashing faster than usual because of the way u did the connection but the bulb will burn much faster.

its flashing fast because the flasher thinks there is a bulb blown... the flasher needs to see a certain amount of resistance to flash at its proper speed. The wirring has nothing to do with it.

I wouldnt say what you did is nessecarily legal, because there is no front turn signal now.

If you really want to keep it that way, get a "variable load" flasher and wire it in place of the stock flasher. (They are usually too big to fit in the stock flasher location, so short wires are needed)
