I just wanted to know if I ungraded to these o so expensive bulbs, would I need a better fuse to be able to withstand or handle the kind of power that these bulbs need to function? Thanks for any help

i think a normal headlight is rated at 65W. if you go around 100W, you'll melt your harness and your housing.

Thats not true, thats only true for cheap bulbs. My mom has 85watt CATZ bulbs and there still doin fine. They've been moved from the headlights to the foglights too (too dim) they look great though on the ground and on comming. There purple on comming and a white/blue purple on the road.

If you put higher watage bulbs all its going to do is make all the other lights dim when you turn them on. I had 100watt bulbs in foglights made for 35watt. They were bright as hell, but when I turned them on it would make my voltage drop and all my other lights would dim. Since I got my HID's they dont dim now, I dont use my fogs anymore since my HID's:thumbup:

When I had my HyperIndustries 9004 80watt bulbs and H3 GenX 55watt bulbs my votage would go from 14ish to low 13's to mid 12's. Pretty bad, with my HID its at a constant mid 13's
