Anyone using Nitrous on their Accord?
One of my friends just bought a 2001 Accord Coupe EX V6 (I used to have this car, but never modded it). Just want to know if anyone is running Nitrous on their V6 Accord? If you are, please post some details (what size shot, kit brand, etc).
Thanks.
Thanks.
I used to use it, but it was on my old 89 Accord Coupe (200 shot programable nitrous system, it was alot of fun till it went BOOOMMM!!!!)
I have a friend with a 2000 Accord V6 and if I remember correctly he is using a 45 shot. His only other mods are cold air intake and exhaust and he has been using the nitrous for about a year and a half. Car still runs like new.

Nah I know why
I'm actually surprised it lasted as long as it did (1 1/2 years) even though I rebuilt everything (rods, pistons etc...). I guess shooting a bottle of nitrous through your motor every 2-3 weeks will do that to your car no matter how you build it.
Oh well it was ALOT fun while it lasted !

I run a Nitrous Express 125 nozzle on my 91 LX. I have destroyed 4 F22A1's over the past 2 years though
Good thing you can get F22A1's for like 200 bucks from the junk yard!!! I wouldnt have it any other way though... that 125 nozzle wakes the car up
If your friend cares about his car, I would advise him not to exceed a 50-75 nozzle.. I'd lean towards the 50 on that V6 as they are fairly high compression.
