Default Coilover kit install? DIY or get pros?

Ok I'm still thinking of getting a Tein HA Coilover kit. Problem is, I dunno how the heck I'd get it on my car. Do I have to take it to a local shop and pay them? A Honda dealer?

If I am going to HAVE to pay to get them on, what's the cheapest way to go?

You can do it yourself, its not hard at all. I installde my nex's in a couple of hours. Do teins come with the top pillow mount, or do you use the stock one? If you have to use the stock one, you need to get a strut compressor to remove the top pillow mount off of the stock shock/springs. Then just install that on the teins, and bolt it in the car. If they come with a top mount, its even easier, just unbolt whole stock assemble from car, and bolt in tein assembly. thats it.

Umm, not sure about the top pillow mount (don't even know what that is).

Here is what I was looking at, it tells everything that it comes with: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tem=1842924354

Do it yourself not hard at all just be careful. Try to get the top pillow wount. What that means is basically you remove your old spring/stut assembly and just throw in the new tiens. you wont need to reuse any factory parts which cuts down on the hassle.

DIY, it's simple. You might have a problem with the lower control arm bolt, they usually sieze up.

yeah that doesn't come with the upper mount. So your going to need a spring compressor and you can probably pop it out in a day. Or a few hours if your god like Souljad9 - he's installing my coilovers when I get around to get up to Bound brook to pick them up.

TJCCARDCO, dude, you will love the Apex-i WS. I got mine installed on Friday, and i love em. I just need to get everything realigned and then the real driving begins. I'm afraid to drive too hard cause i dont want to mess anything up. There's some negative camber in the front but i have the Eibach camber kit that should fix that. other than that, they ride awesome.
