altenator probs

thanks everyone, found the problem...the power supply to the altenator was burnt and the eyelet was beaten up so i replaced it and the voltage went back up to 14...so thanks everyone for the help.

I have the same problem. What do you mean by the power supply to the altenator?

He probably means the power supply from the alternator. You should have a wire bundle with the lead and the ground wires coming out at the alternator and coming to the fuse box. The alternator is right there when you open the hood and should be relatively easy to see.
