So you think lowering the car on 18's and keeping the OEM body kit will look good? I dont need to go wild aftermarket like yours for the car to get noticed if I do these mods?
Damn...you would go 19s huh...Im thinking....we have such bad roads here...roads that eat up stock rims all the time....plus the bad winter weather...Im wondering if I should do such a massive wheel size....

If the accord was my only car I probably would not have done a body kit and 19's i probably would've left it alone and gotten 18's and lowered it, but since I got a beater and a garage I had that option. I think your car will look pretty tight with 18's and being lowered. Just be careful around curbs and such, I have been real careful and it isn't as hard to drive a car that looks like mine just don't be a dumbass in the car.

I take turns and curbs pretty slow as is anyway; I cruise, not race, so it's not a prob.

You really do? Even with the OEM body skirts, not aggressive aftermarket pieces like yours?

In the end, it's your car, so do what you like. But just remember what kind of attention you want.
As far as wheel size goes...if it was me, driving in NYC on a daily basis, I'd get 18's.
Take a look at these two cars, basically the same car, but look what a difference the wheels make. I love one car, MrChads, and the other one is ruined by the wheels in my opinion. Anyway, it might help you decide. They are even your color.

Both the WW kit, but MrChad's has the OEM skirts.
My fav 6th gen coupe is Drag-on's. Oem kit, with 18's.

To me, that car looks agressive, without "trying" to look aggressive if that makes any sense. Just a great drop, OEM kit, great 18" wheels, etc. Oh and a lot of go-fast parts you can't see too.
I think your car will be fine man, do what you want to your car, if you want the extreme look go for it, but you can always get it later on, just get the wheels and lower it, and get a CAI and exhaust if you can, it will be pimp, just have fun with it, do what YOU want to do with it.
JSchmid just gave you a great example below, that car is pretty badass right there.

Man DJ...you don't need a gaudy kit to "get noticed". The clean OEM kit, a good drop, and some 18/19s...you car will look not only more aggressive, it'll still look nice. Sounds like you want people to "notice" your car. I guess it depends on what kinda reaction you want. Chrome wheels and a gaudy kit will get one reaction, and a clean ride with subtle modifications will get a differerent reaction. I guess you have to decide what reaction you want. I know what reaction I'd prefer.

Thanks again for your input....yeah, I guess what Im after, since I can't get a "head-turning," "attention-grabbing" big four door sedan with huge OEM chrome wheels of some kind (such as the awesome 17's on Chrysler's 300M) right now, is to have my Accord more noticed by everyone around me---being the body style is played out and old already; lets not forget, as car enthusiasts, that stylish sports coupes have very short shelf lives---what is hot right now will be dead within a year after purchase. And so it was with my Accord Coupe. So now, I need to modify her to dress her up in these days of much more aggressive cars around me.
You know, ever since you dropped pictures of Mr. Chad's red coupe on this message board for me, I have loved the car. Only, to me, from certain angles, it looks like Chad's car is not even lowered---that pic you supplied above, showing his car from head-on, makes it seem like the car isnt lowered---she still looks like she is sitting on stock height. Plus, I dont have those side door mouldings that he has...does this matter?
And YES, those chrome wheels in the second picture look like ASS---those rims suck donkey nuts, big time---they TOTALLY ruin the look of the car. I wouldnt go for chrome wheels like those; I would go for some kind of spoke or star design---NOTHING that those...those are awful, kid!
Drag On's coupe is hot. I guess thats what mine would look like with 18's, but with some kind of chrome wheel. So, you really say stay with the OEM kit and OEM trunk wing? They are "aggressive enough" even when driving around pricks in their Lexuses, Bimmers and perhaps some kids in their turboed-out Eclipses and Supras with wings so high you can hang laundry on them?

For instance, I wasn't sure if "ditching" the OEM underbody kit and wing was the way to go---perhaps people on here "know" the OEM kit and trunk wing can be just as good on a modified six generation, and so perhaps they could convince me to keep them on the car...see what I mean? I wasnt sure if 18's or 19's would do when the car was dropped with the factory body kit; or if I should invest in HIDs or swapping my tint to limo.
Thanks, Oz, for your continued assistance. What you say is greatly appreciated, as is everyone's. I guess, like you say, I will begin with the drop and wheels.

And IMO new cars aren't always better looking than the ones they replace.I think the drop on MrChad's car is great. Low enough to reduce the wheel gap, but enough travel to remain civil. Trust me, if it wasn't lowered, you'd know for sure. It'd look pretty funny.
I don't know man...my advice would be to worry less about "the pricks in their Lexuses and Bimmers", that makes you sound more jealous than anything else.
If you aren't happy with your car, I wouldn't keep it. You might be disapointed with the results if you try and turn it into something it's not.
It's just my opinion of course, but if you like the car, keep it and do whatever you want to it...but do it cause you want to, not cause you think other people will like it.
I'd love to have a 330i or an S4, but I won't be able to afford one for a while, so I just have fun with my Accord and accept it for what it is. It's the nicest car I've had, it's paid off, so I'm happy with it. Even when I graduate from dental school in a year and half I'm gonna buy my wife a new car before me, so I'll be keeping my Accord for a couple more years at least. I've owned the car for over 3 years now, doesn't bother me.
While I do have a few cosmetic mods, what really puts a smile on my face is blasting down a backroad, taking corners near the limit of adhesion, feeling the difference in handling each mod makes from stock.
This is what gets my blood pumping

hey i know what ur goin thru, i live in miami, and everywhere u look u see some1 with big chrome wheels, on EVERYTHING...and i love the shine, but the only thing is, we drive hondas, they are not luxury cars, why put some big shiney 18-19 inch chromed out wheels on this, and see the same things on lexus and bimmers? the rims look nice, but the car doesnt...i was like that at one point but then i realized...when i get my big truck in the future or somethin, thats when i will go chrome, some nice alloys or somethin wit a nice drop and some other mods will be pretty nice...trust me, the attention u get for a clean not overdone accord is great...any1 can drop a car and slam some chrome wheels on it, of course peeps are gonna look at u, lol...
