the pilot and mdx are built off the accord platform which is what the tl is also built off of so the awd capability is there but an awd system built for an suv may not be a good item to share with a sports sedan
It's actually a pretty good AWD system, one of the best I'd say. It's not "trucklike." It's not like you're going to have to shift it in and out of 4wd, or it's going ot have a creeper gear, or you're going to get 4wd wheel claw on wet pavement. It would be a good AWD system for a car, in my opinion.
