Default Did I just f up my engine?

Hi, picked up a used 95 GSR a couple of weeks ago, so I was curious to see how it would fare on the track. After doing all the basic preventative maintenance (oil, fluids, belts) I headed out to the track last weekend.

First run, everything's cool, but I bog and wind up with a 15.8

Next run, I'm determined to do better. I launch nice, and suddenly the clutch slips. BAMM! I hit rev limiter at ~8200. Holy shizit! So I clutch and shift into second. The car pulls, then the damn clutch slips again. BAAAAAMM! Rev limiter AGAIN at 8200 rpms! I nurse it into third and mosey down the track at 80mph (don't ask about my time on that one!)

I decide that's it for me and cruise back home. On the way, I'm agonizing over what I've done to the car. So far, no messed up noise, no apparent loss in power according to butt dyno, and no smoking or oil burning. What do y'all think? Did I do irreparable damage to my new baby? What's likelihood of valve float on a 81000 mile B18C? And how can I check to see if I f'd up anything... compression test? I still can't believe it, oh the pain...
