hmm is that a fact?? I've been hearing two different things.. One.. it DOES have to be submerged to hydrolock.. and the other would be

He could have just gone through it fast enough where a large amount of water shot up into the filter??

I live in houston.. I dont feel like cutting the pipe to install my BPV and it does rain alot here.. sometimes flood but im not usually out.. now that i have CAI i avoid puddles like crazy.. but if its true that your filter DOESNT have to be submerged.. then Im installing that BPV.. anyone?
