At least now he throws in a paragraph break now and then…

On the topic of the New Supra... here are my thoughts.

1) Yes, it has been demonstrated in the past that the MR2 and Supra can thrive together, so long there is a clear boundary / separation in pricing and perfomance between the two.
So if the MR2 stays relatively close (±10%) to its current price and power levels, then a new Supra starting at about... say $35K should be successful, given a solid advantage in performance.

2) V6 vs. I6 , Turbo vs. NA: While I am sad to see the JZ series motor leaving, I have no doubt that Toyota can get credible performance from a V6. I personally would prefer Forced Induction to NA, given that the new Supra would most likely be a fairly heavy vehicle (think of the MkIV). Whatever actually comes to market however, seems far from clear to me. I will be interested to hear more from Toyota as a release date nears.

3) About a Premium Supra: I question how big the market is for $100K+ supercars. Toyota would benefit from a "halo car" - basically an image booster, and if they want to go for it, then good for them IMO. From what I've heard so far, I'm not convinced it will happen..
