I think it's that similar threads thing at the bottom, links to old threads. Sounds me like the MC is failing. It's not something a garage can really check as you can't see inside of it. If the seals are failing, I can't efficently push fluid and it won't work. Do the cheap thing first, bleed the hell out of it and make sure there is no air, but it may need a new MC.
I completely agree and had the same thing happen in my integra.
BTW, I think the similar threads feature rocks.
