UPDATE:

He is starting to make remarkable recovery. Although its still going to be a very very long road, he's doing really well. He has limited use of his tongue, but I got him to say "Goodbye Mark" to my dad. He is somewhat reading the news paper, he can't use his hands well yet. He's in a semi-child like state, and they think thats how it is going to be for the rest of his life. They are also quite worried about another piece of plaque coming loose, so he will remain in ICU for another month

I found out why the AF won't pay his bills. When you are retired, they pay your medical till age 65, He turned 66 this year. :madfawk: bastards. They can't make an exception??? Lulu is a wreck my dad gave her $200 the other day to help her buy groceries, and pay some bills. She has no money at all. She was telling me the bill for the hospital alone was going to be over $100,000. The community is setting up a fund at a bank to help pay for his medical costs. I will forward you guys that information when I find it out.
