josher where in this statement do you see the most sensitive speaker sounds the best?
its all personal taste and you saying "Get some Alpine speakers" is stupid, maybe to lalno1 they sound like crap.
i like accurate sounding speakers with good mid bass response. if anyone wants to know what i prefer i'll be glad to tell them, however that doesnt mean i should shove my opinion down ones throat.
and anyone that doesnt know ohms law, or how to make there own crossovers go to www.ohmslaw.com
Why do you want to buy speaker's based only on effeciency? If you're so concerned with effeciency, sell your car and buy a more "fuel effecient" honda civic hybrid. Or maybe ride a bike?
My point is, you need to buy speakers based on how they sound to you, not effeciency. I highly doubt Alpine speakers sound like crap to anybody. And also, going to Best Buy, Cicuit City, ABT electronics or any speaker store and listening to car speakers mounted in a wooden board is not an accurate representation of how they'll sound in your car.
Lastly, I don't consider telling people to get Alpine speakers to be shoving it down their throat. Its simply a suggestion, which if someone reads, they should research and then decide. Shoving it down someone's throat here would be flooding this thread topic with Alpine Speaker links, pics, and other people's opinoins.
