You appear to be right again...looks like musclecarclub.com has wrong information on their site because i just found another site that says the same number you say. Trouble is, if the 96 came the the D16Y7, why was it only 106 bhp in the Sol and 115 bhp in the Civic LX, DX? I must figure this out...I am loosing sleep...

Because the Civics that used the D16Y7 wre not 115hp. They were 106 just like the del Sol S. The
current Civic DX/LX series is 115hp, but that's because they use the D17A1. The D16Y7 is and always was 106hp. No more, no less.
