I was considering that too, but i don't trust the whole LS/VTEC ordeal. I want to be able to rely on the motor and all, it's just i don't trust the LS/VTEC IMO.

You'd be spending 5 or so grand to go just over a second faster. If you wanna go a second faster, just get a 55 shot of nitrous and use it at the track. In my opinion, the swap you want to do is spending a whole not and not getting a whole lot back, other then being able to say you've got a b18c...
Yeah that's true, that's what my gf has been saying to me. But i'm not hearin that

You're right about not being all the faster compared to before, but like i said i want the manual tranny w/ VTEC hence GS-R. I figure since I would at least want a manual tranny to wait a little bit longer and stick out the money for the GS-R motor with a good amount of miles on it.

But thank you guys for your opinions so far, greatly appreciated
