Pic looks fine to me, might try adjusting the brightness on your monitor.

What it appears to have done is used the thin metal, where the friction disk attaches to the hub, as a knife that cut off the rivet heads that hold the hub together. The springs were compressed and dead long before that, but once the rivet heads were mostly gone, the metal just broke and seperated entirely from the hub.

It's getting replaced with a custom made kevlar disk with a solid hub from Unorthodox Racing.
