Secondly...They are both 15 second cars!!! (stock) whats the big deal?

Finally...Jeezz...you make it seem that a 1/2 second here and there is a huge difference!! Its NOTHING!!!! shit...race with an almost empty tank and that half second is gone...

If you were really concerned with performance, 0-60 times, and 1/4 miles times, YOU WOULD NOT HAVE PURCHASED A PRELUDE!!!

I have a 2000 Prelude. I love it. I dont mean to talk shit about the Prelude. I love em..But speed is not the main reason you purchased your car. If that was the case...you would have purchased a torque filled V8.

Bottom Line.. The 4th gen and 5th gen are the same. Mods and the driver are going to make the difference. Stop talking about stupid shit. One person said that the 4gen "eats the 5th gen alive" and yet beats it by .5 second?

DO YOU REALIZE HOW ****IN STUPID YOU SOUND?

Thanks for taking this out of proportion and making it personal and not just a debate. .5 seconds is almost 5 carlengths in the quarter mile. That my friend, IS ALOT. Now, how stupid do you sound? Maybe I shouldn't have stated it that way but there's no need to say I'm stupid or sound stupid. And I still stand where I stand. I think the 4G VTEC is still quicker, and I never said weight was the main issue. I said gearing was the difference. And can the guy that said he found it in the Helms double check the ratios. I found this site (http://www.blackoutsi.com/tranny_specs.htm), but I'm not sure if it's correct. But, it makes sense. The 4G VTEC speedometer only goes to 140 or something and 5G goes to 150. But yeah, I still stand behind my argument. And I still want to keep this a friendly debate, so please refrain from calling names or whatever.
