go with the h22 series i got a longblock for 1200 from a normal guy
not everyone is out to screw you, just dont EVER trust guys from the junk yard

i learned that too a while back, but it didnt cost me quite as much

there is a reason why honda kept the basic h22a design (crank + head) around for about 8 years, its good shit bro, powerful and very reliable...except the open deck h22a4 has a few issues.
the 93-95 h22a (OBD1) is the best for the buck power and reliability wise

i suggest you seriously consider the h22 over the turbo f22, there is something special about being able to outrev civic si's with a 2.2 liter engine :naughty:

its called winning NA races for a 1/4 the price youd pay for a turbo
