As for Phiz...your an assclown buddy. Have you ever even swapped a motor with an OBD change? Different sensors and number of sensors, plug types, PIN settings, all kinds of stuff to changeover...not just removal of an air sensor like you must be thinking.
Get a clue then come back when you are willing to learn something and ask valid questions instead of jumping into a conversation you know nothing about.
Oh and BTW OBDII engines will tune just as nicely as an OBDI engine will.....in fact a lot of the shops I deal with are starting to prefer OBDII over OBDI.
Hhaha, Yeah, I'm the one doing the dick-waving, where in cali do you live? Neverland ranch?
No I haven't done any engine swaps, but I AM running OBD1 on an OBD2 motor plus original OBD2b wiring harness.
I CAN read, regardless of 1stgencrxers's opinions, the thread starter was offered the option to put an OBD2 motor in an OBD2 harness car. Holy shit, that's the same setup I'm running!!!!
I know nothing, yet I can disable sensors, in the ECU code, can YOU do that?
OBD2 hondas do not "tune as nicly as obd1" as a matter of fact. I know of two entities producing tuning solutions for OBD2 honda ecus, that's tech-tom a commercial JDM outfit, and someone from malaysia, that I interact with personally.
Oh and jet and jun et al, will probably send you a "pre-tuned" unit.
The OBD2 ECUs have a lot of POTENTIAL, as they have the potential to be set for a baseline, and correct fuel/timing based on sensor input.
However, the 66507 MCU (MCU, not a rom mind you, internal memory on the processor) is a 70 dollar write-once part. That gets kinda ridiculous when you need to tune, make a change, tune, test, etc.
Also, the 66507 is an 84 pin PLCC packaging chip, and basically would need to be de-soldered and socketed on a professional SMT workbench.
Ok, sorry for getting involved in a conversation "I know nothing about"
Hey, just for fun, I'll give you a chance to redeem yourself, we're looking for the 02 sensor location in memory on the PM6 ecu. Is that a valid question??? Am I LEARNING YET?

**** you guys, I got ECUs to chip.
Thread starter, sorry for any part I had in hijacking your thread.
