IMO it's much more trouble than it's worth. You're replacing a 1.5L (D15B7) motor's head out for a 1.6L (D16Y8) motor's head. You're not gaining anything but VTEC and maybe a bit with the cam. VTEC isn't all that man. It's nice and all, but you could save so much more money either doing a real swap or doing all of the super sheit to the DX head (port & polish, 3 or 5 angle valve job, port matching, new cam, new lifters, new springs, new retainers) It's really not worth the hastle you're going to put yourself through.

This is just my opinion so take it as a grain of salt.
His opinion is a very good one though. I own a dx and I dont think an ex head would be a wise choice. VTEC is overrated imo, and a Port and polish and a blueprint would make your motor pretty strong. At least thats what I want to do.
I know some people that have built up the SOHC and they own the DOHC VTECs alot
