jack up the right side of ur car, take off the front right wheel and peel back the fender lining. thats where the second piece will be. (the plastic screws j/ pulled right out for me, no problems at all) and it will hydrolock if the entire filter is submerged in water. switching from CAI to short ram depending on weather j/ seems like a pain to me. I have the AEM CAI w/ out a bypass valve and drive it in the rain all the time, never had a problem. its not hard to look at the ground infront of you and move a little to the left or right to miss puddles
