You need springs and shocks for the lowering but would also need to have a socket and rachet set with a torque wrench. I'm not sure about the 3g's but the 2g's you need to replace the lock nut for the damper fork but these are cheap from the dealer. Depending on what you want to do with the car is going to tell you what spring and shock combo.
