Well I have a DX so I don't have a center console and no bigger cupholders.

I don't have a gf now but the ones that I did have...I would never let them hold my drink...they always FINISHED it.

Between the legs is ok...until you accelerate too much and the S.O.B. spills on you and you get out of your car as if you pissed o yourself. Plus the sucka sweats because of the cold soda pop and the hot outside weather so I'm all soaked so scratch that option...

Yeah, I would always tip the cup when I hit the clutch, or it would get in the way of my steering.

I do occasionally do it when driving someone else's automatic transmission vehicle with power steering though. Good cupholders (or, cars with good cup holders) are hella hard to find. The only useful ones I can think of offhand are in the newer Mazda B-series trucks.

My old Jeep had oversized cupholders on the arm rest itself that fit supersize drinks...awesome. These plactic ones that break fast aren't cool, :nono:, not cool...

I find my stock cupholder is good for up to a medium coke... beyond that, youre pushin it. You gotta know your limits
