Default Cooling Fan

Did a little racing last Sunday(Autox).

Here's my problem. On the 4th run i notice that the car is running warmer than normal. Line back up in stagging and open the hood. Nothing is out of place so i spray the radiator down with water. Cools while driving, but as soon as i get back to stagging, the temp jumps. The cooling fan would not come on. Talked to my mechanic and he said that there should be a fan relay on the radiator itself. Did a GSR radiator swap yesterday with a high flow cooling fan. Did not have a relay on the original radiator or the swap. Where is this relay?? Not having a cooling problem now, but the fan still does not run when hot. 94 Civic Coupe DX D15.

Did you check your coolant levels and make sure there's no air in it?

All the levels are fine. With the new radiator and fan, the fan is still not coming on due to a senor someplace.

It might also happen if there's air in the cooling system.

Fuses are fine. Have three sensors. Gauge sending unit, fan relay, idiot light. Need to replace the fan relay, but don't know where it's located.

Your fan switch should be located on your thermostat housing. It's on the back of it.

Sleeper and I replaced his not too long ago and I'm 99% sure that's where it is. The temp sensor is located on the passenger's side of the block and has only 1 wire coming out of it.

hih man.
