Default short shifters

for a car with a swapped motor, do you get the short shifter for the car, or the motor...........what kind of shifter do u recommend and is it worth even buying

I beleive that you get it for the tranmission.

Actually, your synchros called and they said not to get a short shifter or they are moving out.

I guess he's trying to say that with short shifters you have a higher risk of fAcking your synchros?

if u have to get a ss, get a skunk2 dual bend. it fits civic and teggy linkages.
im running a stock gsr shifter for my b16 and the shifts r very short, almost comparable to my friends skunk2 dual bend in his ek.
dont forget the polyurethane bushing while ur at it, it makes the shifts feel more positive and get the bushings accordin to ur motor, becuz there is a DOHC and SOHC set.

Thought i'd try here instead of doing a whole new thread. I know everyone here likes the skunk2 SS, but i'm looking at the hurst quick stick. Any info out there. I know about the bushings but want to know what you think of the shifter. Later
