IMO I don't like Altezza's cause majority of people who have them, actually make them look good. I usually see them on POS that have big wings, extreme paint job damage, 13 inch rims that are teh sucks. I wouldn't have a problem with them if more people would make it look tasteful. It's only certain types on certain cars that actually look good. Cavaliers and Neons should not have them and certain ones don't look good on any car.
Not to defend euro lights but just because someone has them doesn't make them a ricer. All this JDM bs can be annoying too...

first of all my tail lights are stock because i don't see spending $200+ on cosmetics. and i do agree that altezza's are often flashy, and poorly designed. but bashing people who have them just seems arogant. that's great that you don't like altezza's but for the people who do that's their buisness. it's no reason to bash them because they want to follow the crowd. there is no originality anywhere. you get ideas from viewing other cars, and agreeing that it looks nice so you try it yourself. so if you think about it, everyone is following a crowd. just becuase you're not following the largest crowd doesn't mean it makes you better or more creative.
i would also like to add that i agree with the fact that carbon fiber hoods look rediculous and the idea is rediculous, i know i wouldn't want to spend 200-300 dollars on something that will barely lighten my car. i know if have to replace my hood because the owners before me had alittle fender bender and the hood is alittle slanted, but for $90 i can have a factor hood and paint it any color i want.
finally i want to say that in no way was i trying to be hypocritical. i don't care what people post, but i just think that the post should be more constructive then bashing on other people for what they like. i think that's all i had to say.

Anytime you put altezzas into a thread on this board, there's going to be bashing involved. We are not altezza friendly here. It's a fact, get over it. You're not going to change 3 - 4 years of hating something with your posts.

i spent over $400 on headlight housings because they are oem jdm honda.. i was OBVIOUSLY (to anyone whos been on this forum long enough to know) being sarcastic...

the thing is, we are the extreme minority in the tuner/honda community. The average "hooked up" honda that you see out on the streets is a nasty looking ricey piece of crap. I have red/clears on my '98 sedan, and I have only seen one other sedan like that in person.....on my ride to work, I'll see 10 Civics that have altezzas on them. The people on this board that are dedicated to keeping their car clean looking represent about 5-10% of the honda community...how can that be rice??
i know it doesnt do anything for performance, but i love the way my cf hood looks even if it is a different color than the car!
