I want SOL
I hear ya James.
But from my experience (and my bank account can verify
) I would have much rather just bought a DOHC VTEC Sol when I bought my car. Instead, I got the Si, the lesser of the 2 models. In time, I wasn't happy with the SOHC and what I was getting out of it, so I dropped 3800 for a swap. Had I just spent the extra on the VTEC model, that 3800 could have gone for other things, since I already had the best engine the Sol came with. It could have gone for tires/wheels/suspension, turbo+ engine management, ect...
Oh and on a side note...I ordered a stock GSR diff :wiggle:

If you need help, lemme know! Trannies are cake!

Are you going to throw it in, take it to a shop, or ask me to do it? lol

I'd recommend a 96-97 Sol...the top was fixed in '95 to eliminate leaks, the 96+ Si's have the lower stabilizer bars not found in earlier counterparts, the black/gray two tone interior was changed to all black (very sexy), engines were upgraded, better exterior colors were offered, the seats have a better looking/feeling material, and I'm sure there's more, but I'm too tired to think right now.
'96+ > anything else
'96+ > anything else
Yes. You'd need the '95 bumper, the lights, and the mounting brackets for the lights. The bumper will install without any modifications. And the holes to screw in the lights are already there. It's a ridiculously easy change.
Oh yeah, and you'll need to wire them up yourself, which means (obviously) wire, and a switch of some sort for the interior, whether it be an OEM AUX LT switch or any generic switch from Radio Shack.
