oc, the headlights look awesome.
usdm honda lights have crappy patterns and cutoffs. i have jdm "replica" lights on my accord (sir style black housing). the definitely have a sharp upwards flare on the cutoff, to the right, like _/_/ meaning the mold was off of a LHD car. the cutoff is very similar to my parent's mercedes. i can only assume that jdm headlights (rhd) would flare up to the left. in singapore, they have lhd cars... maybe oc got lhd ctr lights...

btw OC, can you get a closer veiw of the main headlamp housing?

I looks like your inside is smooth. I have a bunch of lines going through mine (not just the 4 that are on USDM stockers, but theres a shitload of perpendicular lines in it, too)

Narib_16, they haven't been on Ebay since I bought them way back in April. They are a gunmetal chrome. Maybe not as dark as the JDM ones, but they are $250 cheaper. I'll live with the gunmetal light chrome. It's better then stock!
The company I got them from : Drift Speed
14971 Chestnut St. Unit #D
Westminster,CA 92683
714/379-5233
info@driftspeed.com

They called them EK9 Type R Gunmetal headlights

Hope this info helps someone. I know of the Type R headlights you are speaking of. Yeah, they are the ugly black crap. I haven't seen any gunmetal chrome in a long time. I would give them a call if I were you. The items I got were new and packaged great! Highly recommended.

The EG & S2000 Sidemarkers are very similar.

the beam patern is good.. and i actauly finaly believe that the are angled SLIGHTLY.. strange.. but they do seem to angle towards oncoming traffic EVER SO SLIGHTLY.. no biggie.. not anymore flashing at me than normal.. i expected to get flashed all the time due to the lacking glare gaurd thing over the bulbs.. but no real problems.. im gonna get the city lights soon to finish them off..

and about the knockoffs and all.. i have nothing against them.. but now the the "clean look" is cool where i live.. there are more and more (like 4 or 5) hondas poping up with giy gunmetal/ebay etc... i just want to start getting real high end stuff.. simply because others wont.. i was also drawn to these since they would DEFINATELY not leak.. im real happy.. well worth the $400.. if one broke id replace it with another $400 set

= )

Awesome headlights, they look great on your car. I was wondering if you had any pics of it before it was installed. I just wanted to get an idea of where the city light actually went in through the back. Reason I'm asking is that I want to do the DIY mod for my gf's 98 headlights and I figured that I might as well install some city lights in hers while I'm at it. Thanks in advance.
