Since Im getting my new
enigine installed on Monday, I htink i will need to get the rear brakes asap! I asked this one guy near by if his will fit but he email this msg that didnt really answer my question, but im a noob so maybe i just dont understand what he meant. But heres his email.
"Yes I do still have them. The drum setup is from a 96 civic cp but it is on eg6 arms. This is what I did was I took the rear disc from a Eg6 and took off the hub all the way to the disc and put it on my arms. So that is basicly what I ahve is 96 drum brakes with brand new drums. Hit me up asap cause these are taking up space"
So will this fit my 95 civic LX sedan?

Why do you want drum brakes? Don't you already have them? I think you are wanting rear disc?
Okay wait he took the disc off, and put the drums on his and is selling just the disc not the whole trailing arm?
I would look at another source this guy doesn't sound too bright to begin with.

OK I found a complete Rear Disc Brakes from a Hatchback! Will the hatchback rear brakes fit for the sedan? And are they the same bolt pattern as the front wheels?
Hey... the guy is selling disc brakes with the trailing arms. What he's saying is that instead of buying a complete trailing arm/disc brake conversion when he did his conversion... he only bought the discs with hubs and installed those on his trailing arms. The trailing arms off a disc brake or drum brake setup are the same so it really doesn't matter. If he's offering them at a better price than go for it.
Note that all rear disc brake setups from integras and civics from 1994 + will fit your car. You could even get disc brakes from a del Sol... but to install them you'd have to reuse your civic lower control arms since the del sol ones are too short.
Something else you'll need is the proper disc brake proportionning valve. I believe the proper honda disc brake proportionning valve has 40/40 written on it. Personnally, I just went with an adjustable proportionning valve when I did my conversion

Ok great im getting them on sunday then. The guy is selling it for $150.00 and he does live close so i just have to take a 40 min drive over there. If only my engine was ready by then, it would be 20 mins to get there lol.
Do I really need the proportioning valve or should i get one that is on the hatchback if thats 40/40?
