 One of my favorite mods. I would say getting a rear swaybar makes a bigger difference in handling than all 4 strut/tie bars do. I wish I would have done it a long time ago.

I agree with wilsel. I have all 4 bars now and noticed some change. However when I took a spin in my friends CRX with a 20mm sway bar. The thing just halled around the turns like nothing.

Can anyone see anything wrong with the skunk2 rear sway? Besides it's being flaming red...I feel dirty spending money on items that don't make the car move faster But I found the skunk2 on driver fx for 133 bucks shipped...10% civicfx code and free shipping

No I don't see anything wrong with it or others. I would recommend buying a kit before piecing together an OEM one. It will save you time and money.

I have a feeling that either the salesman at the parts store goofed or there might have been a miscomunication issue but i think what i ended up getting is a rear lower tie bar and not a rear swaybar.

Could anyone tell me for sure if this is the case?

If this really is the case, according to my research i would have to remove the bolts that tie on the lower control arms, the put in the tiebar and put the bolts and lower control arms back on.

Since i am no mechanic i will probably have that done by someone else, but is it possible to just remove the bolts, put in the bar and replace the bolts, or do you have to take anything else apart to detach the control arms?

And if i do put on the tiebar, what effect would it have on the car, just make the body tighter or will it have any other effects that i would notice?

I also plan on getting an actual swaybar in the future to put along with the tiebar, any harm in putting the tiebar on alone in the meantime though?

Thanks for any info

that is definitely a tie bar. You've been had.

:edit: a tie bar is just about the easiest thing you could put on your car besides a sticker. Do it yourself

Is it worth putting on then, or should i just bring it back and get an actual swaybar.

Since i've been getting my parts there for a long time now, i don't think he intentionally tried to screw me over though.

What effect would a tiebar have on the car's handling and such?

Could i just attach it to one of the holes where the swaybar should be attached or am i right about having the dettach the lower control arms first?

How much did he charge you for that? You can find that for under $50 on eBay...
