I have a feeling that either the salesman at the parts store goofed or there might have been a miscomunication issue but i think what i ended up getting is a rear lower tie bar and not a rear swaybar.

Could anyone tell me for sure if this is the case?

If this really is the case, according to my research i would have to remove the bolts that tie on the lower control arms, the put in the tiebar and put the bolts and lower control arms back on.

Since i am no mechanic i will probably have that done by someone else, but is it possible to just remove the bolts, put in the bar and replace the bolts, or do you have to take anything else apart to detach the control arms?

And if i do put on the tiebar, what effect would it have on the car, just make the body tighter or will it have any other effects that i would notice?

I also plan on getting an actual swaybar in the future to put along with the tiebar, any harm in putting the tiebar on alone in the meantime though?

Thanks for any info
