It all depends. With frankenstein motors like LS/CR-vtec, you don't have the kind of quality control as you would with a factory honda motor. The reliability of the motor is only as good as the guy who built it, and the parts he used. It is possible to build a perfectly reliable CR-vtec motor, but it takes an experienced engine builder... There's plenty of room for error.

For a '92 Si with an LS/VTEC, I would say in order of preference:

1) P72 (OBD-1, GS-R)
2) P61 (OBD-1, GS-R)
3) P28 (OBD-1, EX/Si, needs chipping)
4) PR4 or P74 or P75 (OBD-1 RS/LS/GS/SE, needs RPM switch to activate VTEC)

Others can be used, but those are my preference.

I just bought some new parts for my CRV/Vtec Civic...

1. Apexi VAFC
2. p72 JDM ECU
3. Crane Cams #12 series
4. 310cc RC Injectors
5. 255 lph fuel pump
6. Pillar and gauges

Any coments are welcome. Please let me know what I should expect from these parts. thank you ( I know the gauges wont increase performence)
