i just helped my friend replace his brake lights on his 96 civic. however, i noticed as he was goign away that the two bulbs we replaced didnt light up when he turned his headlights were on. they came on when the pressed the brake.

did we get the wrong bulb?

 

did you check if they were turned all the way? maybe fuse???

 

hmm i'll have to go back and pop it open sometime. the lights were working before, but not the braking ones.
