wait a minute... how is it a "lightweight throttle pulley" if you have to leave the stock one on there? Wouldn't you actually be adding weight? ... I know it's a negligible amount of weight, but isn't that an even worse advertising paradox than "increased throttle response"?

NeverBX: I'll stomp my gas pedal while you stomp yours and we'll see which one opens the TB faster. Bring your stopwatch. I'm not a retard. Throttle response isn't how fast you can open the throttle plate, it's how fast your engine responds to opening the throttle plate. Your engine will respond to WOT in the same manner with EITHER pulley. This mod IS for looks. It does NOT add performance.

Think about it before you resort to name calling, man. I see your point, and I lost intelligence trying to figure out why it would be beneficial. If I'm a retard, it's because I'm growing stupider with every passing second that I think about this part. This isn't a cheap mod for the college student. This is the cheap mod for someone who's already done everything else.

It's actually a new throttle rotor. Made of billet aluminum.

Yes but the factory one remains on the car. Biggest waste of $30 ever. I own one, so it comes from experience.

first off it did make a difference with the throttle response on my car. before i had to be almost at about 85-90% pedal effort for the engine to start responding. now i just have to barely push the gas pedal and it responds way quicker. now my pedal effort for the same effect is only at about 20-25% and the engine respods instantaneously(so if that to you is not considered an increase in "throttle respose"). you're preaching to the wrong guy my friend. preach that "it doesnt work" crap to someone who DOESN'T own one. and i got mine off ebay almost 2 years ago for only 7 bux.........shipped.

and last but not least. it is a lightweight throttle pulley, it doesnt claim to be a lightweight throttle pulley when added on to the stock one, its referring to the product itself.

its a focking bottle cap.......smaller circumference means less area to travel. still don't think it would make a significant difference......plus i saw them install that on Hi-Rev 2nrs on speedvision and what they do i don't do.

Aw, geez, don't get your panties in a wad. Your definition, and the textbook definition of throttle response is very different. It changed your pedal effort, but your engine isn't what's responding differently to the product, and that's what throttle response is based on. Not your foot. Performance wise, it does nothing for your engine. Just the driver. It WON'T make your car faster, accelerate or decelerate faster. If you like it, then great. It's still snake oil if advertised to improve throttle response. A lightweight flywheel or underdrive pulleys WILL do that.

Still, IT LOOKS GREAT on your engine. $7 ain't bad... hell I've been known to spend as much as $11 on a polished valve cover, so I know all about cheap cosmetic mods.
