Default Shocks n Springs....

What are the good, better, best? (for shocks & springs)

From what i found around the $400 range was

Tokico Illunima $369 + Progress Springs (2.3 in Drop) $150

KYB AGX $311 Shipped + Tanabe Springs $150

Still thinking what other combinations are there, and what is the best choice for shocks and springs. Let me know what you guys think? any pics will help. Thanks.

Well too late for ordering the springs, i've already order brand new Tokico Illunimas already, for $360 Shipped, so i paid about $90 bucks a pop...as opposed to the $120 everwhere else. Saved myself $120 so it's not bad deal. Friend said he could have gotten them for me for $30 each but he can only get them for his car since his work place is kind of strict on discounts. Only if i drove a 240 hehe oh wellz.

Now for the shock i am think to go with the Progress Spring with the 2.3" inch drop. How you guys think it'll look with the 14" inch 5 spoke Si rims? oh wellz i am planning to go with 16" rims or 17" rims, probably 17" inch rims; wrapped in 205/40/17 tires.

Damn control arms are a lil messed up going to fix it this week, rather not go to autostore and spend $150 to fix it when i can fix it myself. Probably take a look at it soon. The front wheels have a little play when i have it up on the lift.

I don't like coilovers, I've had my coilovers sitting here for more than a year, paid $135 Shipped a year ago. (from Zero Racing) Don't really want them no more, so if you want them someone make me an offer on them; they're brand new never installed.

One last thing, what should i get Ground Control Coilovers or Progress Spring? I like the idea you can change the ride height with the coilovers but, then again I heard they are very noisy and the perch on them usually break. The good thing with springs they have a recoil unlike coilover overs where gravity controls your ride. Let me know what you guys think.

Koni yellows a lil out of my price range at the moment, just trying to get my car up to par or just a lil above it for the super street tour. Any sol's here going?

So far i got the Tokico Illunima all around. Just waiting delivery.
Next is either Ground Control Coilovers. Or Progress Springs 2.3" drop. How do u guys make a poll?

I hear Koni yellows and Neuspeed Race springs are an excellent combo if you don't mind the bumpyness of daily driving.

Look into Neuspeed springs. Good stuff. Also, don't worry about GC coilovers breaking, they are much higher quality then those crap $125 genaric coilovers.
