You're going to also need a camber kit for that drop if I'm not mistaken. I plan on going for a tokico shock/spring combo when I buy mine. I'm looking for about a 1.5" drop.

How you like your Skunk2 Coilovers?

What are the pros and cons?

Let me know. Thanks.

I had that same setup on my Civic (illuminas/skunk2's). I loved them, but they were harsh on my spine. Adjusting the height was easy cause the spring just sat there on the perch when jacked up.

The coilovers I have on my car now (tokico) are still compressed even when jacked all the way up and makes it hard to turn the thing. Plus side to that is it doesn't make noise when you go up driveways.

Handles awesome though, dude. Get them if you don't care too much about comfort.

Coilovers don't make the ride softer, that is all in the springs and shocks. If you want a softer ride, look into lower rate springs or coilovers with lower rate springs.

I don't think there is such a thing as a sleeve type coilover with a lower spring rate. Although I heard GC offers custom spring rates. The problem with that is, the springs are really short on the sleeve type ones and will bottom out with softer springs.

On a Del Sol, what is the maximum drop you can do without using a camber kit? Also, I'm looking into lowering the car with tokico shock/spring kit. I want it lower so it doesn't look so high, but I don't want to kill my body kit on every dip. What would be the best height adjustment? I was thinking 1.5"
