The Edelbrock Turbo kit makes 30hp more than than JRSC advertizes and it is also street legal. The ball-bearing turbo spools-up so fast off the line it is hard to shift fast enough to second gear. It comes intercooled and with a blow-off valve.
I am glad you are pleased with your JRSC installation but I would not trade mt Performer X turbo kit for any blower kit.

Hey, just got my supercharger installed...Casey at modacar did a fine job as usual. If there's anyone out there debating between turbo and supercharger. Go for the supercharger...I've had both, this bitch moves, right off idle. Oh yeah does anyone want a "Tru Power" alternator pulley? I know it fits the 2000 Civic Ex, not sure what other models are included. Has about 100 miles on it. $15 bucks??? I can't use it...let me know.:gives:

only thing I don't like about he jrsc is its lack of cooling capacity. Especially if you upgrade to the high boost pulley, coolant, intake charge and underhood temperatures get really high up there. I know for some kits (like miata, for example) it is possible to plumb an air to air intercooler into a jrsc kit, but I've never heard about that on a honda.
I personally would buy an SC for my car before a turbo, but thats just because its an autocross car. If I were in the market, I'd look at Procharger (centerfugal) which uses a dual or tri-core air to air intercooler, runs cooler than the jrsc or the vortech, and *supposedly* makes more power... Although I've yet to see a real dyno chart from them.

the JRSC has a water injector intercooler. dont know how well that works though.

actually thining about it. you can run a JRSC with a 9 lbs pulley therefore giving u a constant 9 psi right?
imagine that vs a turbo at 9 psi... u miss all that pressure during lag.
aside frmo all the variables the JRSC has the edge
