Default valve adjust

searched... but no cigar. How would one go on about adjusting the D16Y8 head? I just need to know so I can buy the right feeler gauges. Do i also need that key that fits on the crankshaft pulley (the one that looks like a hollow hexagon)?

thanks again people

you just need a 19mm socket i believe to turn the crank. and its easy to adjust the valves on a single cam, no need for special tools, just a 10mm combo wrench and flat head, and feeler gagues, not sure where to get good ones though. do you need info on the specs and how to do it or is that enough info?

eh i'm lazy i think i'm just gonna take mine to honda and have them do it for 100 bucks. I'm at 62K miles and i haven't done it yet, some guys are anal and do it at 30 some honda techs i've talked to said they never needed to do a valve adjustment. Either way i bet i'm getting some extra power from the crazy lift

the hexagon looking crank holder tool is a 50mm one. the crank pulley bolt is 17mm, and camshaft bolt is 12mm and all the other bolts you need for the process are 10mm.

I made a DIY, http://www.angelfire.com/biz7/aiperf...djustment.html

Default Yeah need one too

If someone came make a DIY valve adjustment for a D16z6 that would be awesome. $100 for valve adjustment is not that bad, thats why people should make a DIY to stop the stealerships jacking our cash.
