my 90k serivice cost ~$370

including inspection of most parts, tire balance/rotation, changing oil/tranny fluid/shit like that, and the valve adjustment.

BTW, this was at my favorite garage that is Honda/Acura certified. No worries for me.

Dealership was asking about $20 more, plus they wanted to change an AC filter, adding $40. I was like "AC filter?" I barely even run the shit.....

and I could care less about doing the adjustment myself. Actually, I think letting people know how to do it can be a double-edge sword.

I don't know about anyone else, but the last place I need to be fuckin around in is the engine. I'll leave it to pro's

couldn't care less actually. but anyway, i halfway agree with this. while most people should not be in the engine itself, i also think that people who shouldn't be in there would know better. i'm probably going to try doing it myself. the worst that could happen is i end up breaking my engine and have to get a new one. darn.

eh, hard to say.

I almost wanted to do the adjustment myself. But then I got high and relized that could pose a potencial problem

at the same time, I decided against going FI, and dumped my boosted y7 idea. I'll just stick with the b16, and probably won't get it for a looooooong time.... :happysad:

if my car was 10+ years old and I had 120k+ on the engine, I'd agree.

 LOL! I was blazed when I did mine on the engine stand in my dining room. :bandito: Turned out great! You just have to go back through them and check them all once you think you have them right. It's really not difficult at all, you just have to know how to follow directions.

I'd do a timing belt and valve adjustment job with a new water pump and all accessory belts for $370. I'd even stay sober for that price.
