rear brakes
Me and my friend are changing my rear brake pads on thursday (apparantly that was the source of that weird clicking noise)
any pointers or tips? i've never done this before (my friend has, just not on a honda) and i'm not too sure what to expect.

Had same problem with clicking on 97 civic. Sounded more like clacking though. haha.
Anyway, I would definitely have the drums turned when changing the pads due to the click. You don't want to have uneven wear on the new shoes or risk being frustrated if you change and still have clickety clacking by saving a few bucks. Besides that, you shouldn't have to change the rear pads again for quite a while so do it right the first time and you'll get mucho mileage out of them without touching again.

Just have the drums looked at before you have them turned. It can't hurt, but it's not always necessary. You can only turn your drums so many times before they're not turnable anymore so don't do it just to do it.
What I normally do is take the drums off both sides and work on one set of brakes. That way if you get lost putting them back together you have the other one to look at.
If you need some pointers, PM me and I'll do what I can to help you out.
