yup... i like it too.. however, it's 50mm piping.. which is similar to ur stock piping. it's about 1.97" in diameter. i was hoping it to be at least around 2.15" - 2.25". but then that would be the HKS hi-power one... which sounds kinda high pitch.

Don't worry, it's not a waste of money. I'm building my car to be a driver and to be the car I take on road trips. As is the poor thing barely makes it through the Rockies and the Sierras, so it's gonna have some work done to it. I'm going to put a D16Y8 head in along with alot of other Y8 components and ZC pistons and rods, Crower cam etc etc. I'm aiming for about 140-150 WHP. Even if I don't get that # I'll be happy if the car isn't afraid of hills anymore.

I hear good things about the d16a6 pistons too, they're high-top so they'll be high compression. I'd clay to make sure on valve clearances.

I'm running the Apex'i N1 and I love the sound of that. Although it is quite loud no matter what your speed you're running the engine at. But, if you are looking for a pretty quiet system try looking into the DC Sports TCS (twin canister system). From what I hear it's pretty damn quiet and produces a decent gain in HP. Then again, the sys. was for an EX not a DX. Noise ratings were somewhere around 95-98dB vs. my N1 which is somewhere between 105-115dB.
